Bordeaux

Saturday we ran around Bordeaux to see the sights. We had a good time sharing missionary stories and visiting people and places from Spencer's mission. We did what we could considering the train strike, but what would a trip to France be without a strike???

While walking around Bordeaux we ran into a huge antique show with a few random booths of African masks...a little remembrance of my mission!

That night we had a GREAT meal with the Fortina family who knew Spencer from his mission. We stayed at their house eating dinner until around midnight in true French Fashion!

Sunday we went to church at the Lormont Ward in Bordeaux where Spencer served for 6 months. You could tell he was a well-liked missionary! Here he is with a woman he baptized, Monique.
