Rome Day 1

Our first full day in Rome we started out at the Vatican. Who knew there would be such a long line??!!?? My opinion, Versailles was much more impressive. Here are some pictures - not the greatest because they restrict where you can take pictures.




After the Vatican we made our way through the disgusting Roma metro - see glorified pictures below - to the Colosseum.



Once we got the Colosseum, we were only able to look around for a few minutes before the rain hit. We went walked in the rain for a while before we decided to throw in the towel for the day. We grabbed a pizza for dinner and brought it back to the hotel - gotta love Italy.
