Last Friday after work Spencer and I bravely headed into downtown Detroit for our first time after being here for almost two months now!. Our first destination was the free entrance into the hydroplane races. The crowd was very Nascar-ish...we didn't stay long. However, it was really fun to see the fast boats with high rooster tails whizzing by along with all of the vendors in the area setting up for the weekend races. We just ran around taking fun pictures...
After the hydroplane races we headed over to Comerica Park to see a Tigers game. The stadium was really nice and after the sun went down the temperature was comfortable enough to enjoy! The Tigers lost to the Twins but the experience was still fun!
Too bad we didn't get to sit here!

sadly I have only been to 1 professional baseball game in my life and it was a twins game when we were living in Minneapolis. Good to hear that they are doing well.
