We used the remaining days of our rental car to see our nation's capitol.
Madeleine was happy as can be waiting in line for the archives, but only after I had fed her in line! Nothing like flexibility.
After the archives we met up with my good friend Adriel for lunch at Potbellys - yummy! I ate there at least once a week during my summer in DC. Due to Adriel's beautiful looks, cunning charm, and coy manner (okay, and her job) she was able to take us on a tour of the capitol. (see next post)

She is the cutest thing ever! Those eyes and that little smile. She's so big already it seems too. so fun to get to see your family...i miss nj every once in awhile. fun times!
