Instead of shopping on Black Friday, Spencer, my dad, M and I headed to the zoo with some free passes. Despite the FREEZING temperatures we had a fun time. The animals were out and Maddie loved it. The monkeys were jumping around and even made a few stops right against the glass. We took a train ride that was beyond cold but fun. However, the best part was the black bear exhibit.
There was this little house and inside they had what looked like sliding doors. They were actually just large windows with hopefully extremely thick glass. It was amazing, there were two black bears pacing in front of the window. It was hilarious watching M trying to interact with them...definitely the closest I have ever been to a black bear!
