animal farm

last week we met up with our  friends Jess and Baby Bastian (as he's known in our house) for a local animal farm.  They had a pen set up right outside a store in the mall and filled it with child-friendly goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks and all sorts of anxious moms and children in tow.  Madeleine wasn't so anxious and just about had a panic attack any time an animal came near her.

The camera required a third hand (which I have yet to grow) so it didn't come out until we went outside the pen.  Madeleine loved looking in from the outside where the animals couldn't touch her.  Perhaps we're zoo people?
