Once upon a time my best friend came to visit. It really was like a fairy tale, a total girls weekend. We got to spoil/smother baby Paul with overwhelming attention, try out new hairstyles, do some serious shopping at the mall of america, explore new lakes, found a turtle, and just bask in Mary Poppins' presence. No really, she's our Mary Poppins. She had the kids captivated the entire weekend and they are still talking about her. Magical Wendy. She was also our Mary Poppins as we even got to sneak out for a date night.
Thank you for coming to visit Wendy! I'm already counting down the days until our bff reunion next year.
Best friends are completely underrated.
Exploring outside - I think Henry has a stick in every picture!
Date night at Lake Elmo Inn - we got the Sin @ the Inn dessert which was to die for - and then off to Lake Elmo Reserve.
