With severe bedhead, drowsiness, pajamas, and excitement the birthday celebrations commenced in the wee hours of the morning (okay, really about 8am). We had M open her first present, a package of Madeleine cookies from Costco that we all had for breakfast. It was a nice start to the day and we're still enjoying them.
