office Christmas party

Spencer's office always throws a fantastic Holiday party just for kids. Didn't take that many pictures because Henry was, for the most part, on my lap or in my arms but we had fun meeting Santa (still not sure about him...), having a charicture done of both kids, eating a yummy lunch, making a snowman, decorating cookies and dancing to Christmas music.

M: "Mom, are you kidding me? you're really making me sit on this strangers lap for a picture?"

me: "oh please, just smile and you'll be fine; it's a rite of passage!"

M: "yeah well he's grunting...we're done"

She did get me thinking about how weird it is that we wait in lines, elbow our way through malls, primp and prime and make such a big deal about sitting on an old man's lap. One point for Madeleine.

at least someone was a good sport

entertained by the simple things, I love it

concentrating very hard to make the perfect snowman to add to our holiday decorations...only to be left behind last minute at the office
