entertainment, exposure and hosting

Spencer went ice camping with the young men so the kids and I were on our own for the weekend.  Nothing like living across the street from free Harvard sports!  In our efforts to become better acquainted with Harvard athletics and seemingly lesser-known sports (hockey, volleyball, womens lacrosse, football, womens basketball, rowing/crew, fencing) we decided to add water polo to the list.  Room for kids to run, Henry got to flirt with the players and they eventually calmed down, picked a step and nearly fell asleep.  I suppose it was a little too close to nap time.  Nonetheless it was a blast and we're bound to find ourselves at another Harvard event in the near future.  It's one of those things I will definately miss about a university environment in the future.


It was 9 degrees in this picture.  Bitter bitter cold would sum up January just perfectly.  Despite the nearly unbearable cold, the campus is still our playground.  If you ever visit, don't be surprised to see our trio running around.


Madeleine received a McDonalds gift card for her birthday and wanted to take us out for our family night activity.  She was thrilled to host us; however, ordering for everyone was her absolute highlight.  It was a fun, unified night out.  And let's be honest, any activity that ends with a hot fudge sundae is top on my list!
