Today Henry willingly took sticks back outside after accidentally bringing them in

Today the kids raced dad as he mowed the lawn - Madeleine in her rainbow sunglasses. Diva.

Today the kids piled rocks in an attempt to make a staircase so Henry could reach the 'trapeze'

Today Madeleine had her feelings hurt by friends. She's growing up.

Today Madeleine made a card for her future preschool teacher Mrs. Dombrowski. Blind but deep love already.

Today for quiet time the kids requested to watch Mormon messages. We all need those.

Today Spencer came home and worked on the yard for about 3 hours

Today I made an amazingly delicious salad.

Today I cleared off the kitchen table, completely!!  Such a major accomplishment - sad but true.

Today we stayed home and powered through our own battles without turning on the tv or going out for an escape.

Today Madeleine quietly say in time out for 5 minutes. It helps if she can see or watch the timer on my phone.

Today Henry ran back inside and came out 5 seconds later with his shoes. A record. Maybe something's clicking?

Today Madeleine told me she would watch Amelia until she went to bed - all to earn a quarter.

Today Henry ate his entire dinner, victory!

See, today wasn't so bad.
