Empty playground, empty house, seems like an empty life. The packers came and in a dehumanizing way packed up our life into boxes. We stared at the boxes over the weekend and Monday morning they came and took it all away. As if to prove that material things don't matter. It was an awful feeling having the reality of the situation sink in.
Fortunately my depression was short lived when my neighbor invited us to have a hallway party. It's an urban block party if you will. Bubbles till the cows come home!
It was the end of an era - a short, two year era - but an era nonetheless. I don't think we'll ever have a time in life to rival this one. So much packed into to years - people, learning, sacrifices, growth, baby, friends, trips, networking, beauty and family. The best two years I'd say. Anyone want to do it all over again?
Pick me! Pick me!
Our last date night in Boston. My parents babysat the kids (Amelia 1 week old) while we walked Newbury Street with our besties - Aaron and Elena and ultimately stopped at Max Brennar's for some incredible dessert. Thank you Boston.
We left HBS when Amelia was two weeks old. We went to Utah for 3 weeks to relax and spend time with family and boy were we ready for some relaxation! {on the plane to Utah}
A nice 2am shot of us. Amelia's so small you can't even see her. She slept the ENTIRE trip. Angel baby!
