September 11th is always a heavy day. So many emotions come with those memories.
This year we made a point to enjoy our freedoms. It was an absolutely perfect day. That evening I wasn't rushing around unpacking, organizing or cleaning.
We just went outside, turned on the sprinkler and basked in the setting sun. It was perfect.
I love the freedoms of this country. Somehow living in the 'country' has made me even more appreciative than ever. We have so much to me grateful for, it was great for one night and just soak it all in.
Madeleine soaked it in wearing a swimsuit of course.
